Atfal Activities Day, Leamington Spa.
The day was planned for Atfal in Leamington and Coventry to come together and be a part of competitions and take part in many fun activities.
The activities comprised of a Draw a Mosque competition, where Atfal were given the opportunity to draw any iconic Mosques within the U.K. Alhamdulillah the Atfal took great benefit out this activity and wowed the helping Khuddam with their articulate skills.
This activity was beneficial in respects to increasing the brotherhood with each other by giving them the opportunity to compete with their fellow Atfal for harmonious fun.
The second activity was an Adhaan competition, where Atfal were encouraged to recite the Adhaan in a beautiful poetic style.
This turned out to be extremely advantageous with Atfal in some cases delivering fine tuning to the Adhaan. I believe that after this activity Atfal in Leamington Spa and Coventry now have the experience and courage to deliver the Adhaan during Namaaz in front of many worshippers.
Atfal were served a scrumptious lunch of Fish and Chips by Dr Imran Hanif Sahib and were joined by Sadr Sahib, Mohammed Salim JP, Qaid Sahib Mohsin Rafiq and Nazim Tarbiyyat Leamington Spa, Dr Rizwan Hafeez.
We covered the key area topics of Christmas, Birthdays, Halloween and the five pillars of Islam.
All Atfal honestly enjoyed the active Tarbiyyat discussion, learning crucial and key facts in terms on their religion.
After this I held an Atfal Meeting discussing what they would like to do in regards to future events.
A prize ceremony was conducted at the end of the day before Maghrib prayers which Sadr Sahib, Qaid Sahib and Nazim Atfal Leamington Spa distributing.

My Atfal Activity Day Experience
I attended the Leamington Spa Qiadat, Atfal Activity Day which was held on Saturday 2nd January 2010 at Baitul Ehsan. I had been looking forward all week for this event. I was very excited about the event.
I was very happy to recite the Holy Quran at the opening session. The Atfal were given a Mosque drawing competition, which was great fun and I came first in the Adhaan competition.
I found the discussion about why we don’t celebrate Christmas, Halloween and Birthdays to be very informative and interesting. I learnt a lot from the discussion.
We had a delicious lunch, which was my favourite Fish and Chips, yum yum.
During the day there were a lot of fun activities, which I fully enjoyed and look forward for the next Atfal Activities Day, InshaAllah.
